Our job is to develop the code to run our robot through working with an extensive community of mentors, students, and graduates, while opening up opportunities for students interested in a future in the STEM related fields.
Programming is the coding of all functionalities of the robot. In our preseason we strive to teach newer students basic Java coding skills, and to strengthen our abilities through: tutorials, trial and error, mentor guidance, mini projects, and working with old code to get a better understanding of programming. Our subgroup works with computer science technologies that are commonly used in a business environment today, helping to open up potential opportunities and futures for students who are interested in a STEM career.
Remember to add a semicolon to the end of each line of code!
